We are supporting Grandmothers Against the War in their letter writing project.

Write letters to our grandchildren to tell them why we speak out about peace and social justice. Letters are to pass onto younger generations helpful lessons we have learned. Letters should describe real experiences in your life that have brought you to oppose war.

Letters should be from 200-1,000 words.
Written to a real or imagined young person.
Focus on real experience, something the writer has seen or done or not done, or perhaps wished s/he had done.
Must include name and contact information of writer.
Sending to the Grandmothers Against the War gives permission to publish the letter.
